Nexans champions CPR awareness campaign launched by Europacable

A recent survey revealed that only six percent of European stakeholders have an appropriate awareness of the Construction Products Regulation (CPR). Yet the regulation has been in force and mandatory for all stakeholders of the construction market since July 2017.

CPR_200The CPR awareness campaign, launched by Europacable and keenly championed by Nexans, aims to help all construction professionals fully understand the implications of the CPR on the cable industry and assist them in complying with the regulations. 

  • Starting on May 20th, the awareness campaign covers 15 countries in Europe
  • Electrical professionals can sign up for the My CPR Coach, Europacable’s training program Europacable
  • Different initiatives will take place, including CPR Checklists for installers, specifiers and wholesalers as well as white papers regarding each member state’s own country requirements on fire performance of cables
