Recycling

All production waste is carefully recycled in our modern recycling plant, which has been running since 1999. The plant allows us to sort the materials with greater precision (more waste categories). The recycling plant provides an attractive working environment for our staff, plus easy access for contractors who handle our recycled material.

Everything is recycled if possible – for example 20 % of the recycled PVC goes directly back to production. The metals copper and aluminium are valuable raw materials. They are recovered and some of it is sold. Most other materials are non-hazardous or easy to recycle, e.g. steel tape, talc and aramid yarn.
